Gran Piedra

This amazing place is located in the Gran Piedra Mountain range, just 28 km from the city of Santiago de Cuba.

Its privileged environment preserves an exuberant and endemic flora and fauna.

It owes its name to a huge stone of about 70 thousand tons, third largest in the world, according to the Guinness World Records list, with 1227 meters above sea level.

Its rea is one of the territory declared a World Biosphere Reserve, surrounded by ruins of coffee plantations founded by French settlers, declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Visitors can access to other sites a few meters from the Hotel, such as La Isabelica museum or the attractive botanical garden Ave del Paraíso, among others.
