Finca Vigia

Located in San Francisco de Paula, Finca Vigía is a historic and iconic property famously known as the former home of renowned American author Ernest Hemingway. The author of the Old Man and the Sea lived at Finca Vigía from 1939 to 1960, and it is where he wrote some of his most celebrated works, including parts of For Whom the Bell Tolls.

The estate, whose name translates to "Lookout Farm," is perched on a hill, offering stunning views of Havana and the surrounding countryside. The property consists of a main house, guesthouse, a large swimming pool, and Hemingway's beloved fishing boat, the Pilar, which is on display.
