Palacio Ferrer

A Jewel of Neoclassical Architecture, Palacio Ferrer is one of the most emblematic buildings in Cienfuegos, located in Parque Martí in the city center. It was built in 1917 by the wealthy Spanish merchant José Ferrer Sirés, this architectural masterpiece stands out for its elegant neoclassical style, intricate details, and a distinctive blue-domed tower that offers one of the best panoramic views of Cienfuegos.

The building reflects the European influence on Cienfuegos, with grand arches, columns, and finely decorated facades. The small cupola with a blue-tiled dome is a signature feature, providing breathtaking views of the city and Cienfuegos Bay.

Inside, it features spacious halls with marble floors, high ceilings, and large windows that enhance its elegance a private mansion, it later served various cultural functions, including a conservatory for the arts. Today, Palacio Ferrer is part of Cienfuegos’ rich cultural scene, often hosting exhibitions and artistic events.
